Episode 10 – Psychedelic drugs, healing & the meaning of life

In this episode of the Spiritual Sluts podcast, we are discussing the topic of drugs. Each of us had a very different starting point regarding drugs (my experience with them being next to zero). So, in preparation for this episode, we decided to experiment a little together. You know, just for science. 

In this episode, we share the results of our experiment as well as:

·      What we learned about drugs growing up 

·      The war on drugs and different approaches to drug regulation in different countries

·      Ron’s drug initiation

·      Drugs as a pathway to spiritual development and healing

·      Trying to put the Psilocybin trip into words

·      What this experience is revealing to us about life 

Of course, we also want to highlight that psychedelic drugs can be deeply destabilising for some people. Before experimenting with any kind of drugs, inform yourself well and check your sources. Make sure you are in the right mindset, that you are in a safe, comfortable physical environment, in which you feel supported by the people you are with. Also ask yourself what it is that you would like to get out of the experience and if you actually might be needing something else. Be safe and have fun!
